ComPeer Appoints Wealth Management Consultant Bruce Weatherill
ComPeer, the benchmarking and analysis firm, has appointed wealth management consultant Bruce Weatherill as an advisor, starting from 1 August 2010.
As part of the move, Weatherill will take an equity stake in ComPeer and help the firm develop its existing range of benchmarking products, research and consulting services for the wealth management industry. He will also help ComPeer create a range of new services for the investment management industry.
Weatherill, who had been a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers until 30 June, when he left to create his own consultancy, is a frequent commentator on the industry, appearing in publications including WealthBriefing.
Initially, the firm will offer an annual business benchmarking survey, an industry report and research. The survey will be launched in the autumn of 2010 and the results published in the first half of 2011.
ComPeer was set up in 1993 and runs annual, quarterly and monthly benchmarking surveys, a twice yearly remuneration survey and an annual industry report covering the trends and developments in wealth management over the previous year. It also carries out bespoke research for high net worth investors and financial advisors.
