Collins Stewart Wealth Management has recruited Chris Colclough from HSBC Global Asset Management to boost its multi-manager team.

At HSBC Global Asset Management Mr Colclough was most recently a fund manager in the global equity team.

In his new role Mr Colclough is based in Guernsey, working closely with co-lead managers on the firm’s Select range, Mark Piper and Justin Oliver . Mr Colclough reports to Charlie Roger, Collins Stewart Wealth Management's head of Guernsey.

“We are excited about Chris joining the team as his credentials, personality and experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to provide a first class multi-manager service to our clients,” said Neil Darke, head of Collins Stewart Wealth Management.

Collins Stewart Wealth Management’s multi-manager team consists of 21 fund specialists.

The appointment of Mr Colclough closely follows that of Tracey Carter from Royal Bank of Scotland. Ms Carter was recruited by Collins Stewart to bolster its treasury function, taking up the role of treasury and fixed interest trader.

Collins Stewart Wealth Management is based in London, with offices in Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and Geneva, and employs over 700 staff. As at 30 June 2008, the firm managed and advised on £3.7 billion ($5.1 billion) of assets.
