Cohen & Steers Appoints Head Of Funds, Sub-Advisory Sales In EMEA

The US-based investment house has boosted its European asset management capabilities.
Cohen & Steers, the US-based firm, has appointed James Cahill to its London office as head of funds and sub-advisory sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a new position.
Cahill brings 28 years of experience in the asset management industry, joining from Principal Global Investors, where he was director of European fund distribution.
He will be responsible for driving relationships with financial intermediaries in the EMEA region, while raising awareness of the firm's liquid real asset and income offering, which includes real estate securities, listed infrastructure, natural resource equities, commodities and preferred securities.

“His extensive experience and deep understanding of the European wealth market naturally lends itself to conveying Cohen & Steers' specialist investment expertise and bringing our liquid real assets capabilities to new clients.”
Cohen & Steers specialises in liquid real assets, including real estate securities, listed infrastructure, commodities and natural resource equities, as well as preferred securities and other income solutions. The firm is headquartered in New York, with offices in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Seattle.
