Cofunds, the UK IFA platform, has appointed Laura Eden - latterly of Axa Elevate - as head of strategic partnership managers, effective next month.

Eden, who was previously interim head of business development at Axa, now reports to Cofunds' head of distribution Andy Coleman, and will be responsible for managing the partnership account management team, a spokesperson has confirmed to WealthBriefing.

The appointment coincides with the firm’s plan to expand its strategic partnership account management due to client demand, Coleman said in a statement.
