Cofunds, James Hay Add Funds to Platforms

Cofunds, the UK-based mutual funds supermarket, has added three funds from Macquarie to its platform, which will be available across the platform’s ISA, SIPP and offshore bond range. The funds are the CF Macquarie Global Infrastructure Securities, Global Private Equity Securities and Global Property Securities. Meanwhile James Hay, part of the Abbey Group, has added 24 HSBC funds to its Wrap platform, bringing the total available to 1,294 from 56 groups. The new products include seven index trackers, 12 equity vehicles and two bond products, as well as HSBC’s Global Growth, Growth and Income funds of funds. And Skandia, a subsidiary of South African insurance giant Old Mutual, has added Schroders' Japan Alpha Plus fund to its MultiManager Japanese Equity Blend fund, in place of the JPMorgan Institutional Japan fund. The Schroders fund makes up 12 per cent of the £28 million ($56 million) portfolio, which also includes Schroders’ Tokyo fund, and offerings from Martin Currie and Old Mutual.
