Cofunds' Head Of Sales Departs Amid Restructure

Nick Godfrey, head of sales, and Paul Rose, national sales manager, have left the UK investment platform Cofunds with immediate effect, due to a merger of its sales and marketing departments.

Godfrey and Rose both joined the firm last year.

The restructure was driven by “the changing needs of advisors as they transition their businesses in the run up to the Retail Distribution Review,” according to an internal memo from Alastair Conway, sales and marketing director.

As part of the changes, Russell Lancaster, head of commercial, will also manage the key accounts team and Stephen Wynne-Jones, head of marketing, will take on responsibility for managing and co-ordinating the delivery of projects across the sales and marketing department.

“The decision to knit the sales, marketing and proposition teams more closely together is targeted at delivering a better and more joined-up service to advisors,” said Conway.
