City National Bank Names VP, Chief Fiduciary Officer For Wealth Arm

City National Bank, the California-based private and business bank, has appointed Leigh Shipp Muniz as vice president and chief fiduciary officer for its personal trust services unit.

Muniz most recently served as an attorney at Davis & Whalen, where she specialized in estate planning for high net worth individuals, including trusts and estates law, taxation, and probate administration. In her new position, she will function as a key resource to personal trust officers for account acceptance and administration and will be responsible for leading on policies and procedures. She reports to Mike Dowling, the manager of personal trust at City National.

The personal trust unit is part of the bank's Wealth Management Services group.

City National Bank provides banking, investment, and trust services through its 74 offices across the US.
