City National Bank Bolsters Branch Network With Two Hires

Las Vegas private and business bank City National Bank has strengthened two of its branches with the announcement of key hires.

Mariana Johnson joins the Twain office as senior vice president and branch relationship manager, while Bart Roberts steps in in the same capacity for the Hughes Center branch. Both became part of City National in May 2010 after the bank acquired Sun West Bank. They will report to John Wilcox, senior vice president and Nevada regional banking manager.

"[They] are a great fit to our branch banking model and will play a key role in helping integrate Sun West clients into the City National family of valued clients, as well as maintaining and growing existing relationships and developing new business with prospects of the bank," commented Wilcox in a statement.

Prior to City National, Johnson was the executive vice president and chief administration of Sun West, while Roberts was a senior vice president and senior sales manager.

City National Bank is backed by $21.2 billion in total assets and provides banking, investment and trust services through its 80 branches across the US. Along with its investment affiliates, it manages $54.6 billion in client investment assets.
