Citi Wealth Adds Senior Figure To EMEA Client Solutions Team

Formerly with BNY, the banker will work at the US firm's Dubai office.

The integrated client solutions team of Citi Wealth – part of Citigroup – has appointed Khaled Ibrahim (main picture) as director of origination and global family office for Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective 16 March. 

Ibrahim, who is based in Citigroup’s Dubai office, will report to Alessandro Amicucci, MD, EMEA head of the global family office group at Citi Private Bank. 

With more than 15 years’ wealth management experience, Ibrahim has expertise in the Middle East/Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) family office ecosystem. 
Most recently, Ibrahim served as a senior vice president at BNY, where he managed a portfolio of institutional and private wealth clients across the GCC collection of Gulf states, Africa and Turkey. He has also worked at UBS and Julius Baer. Ibrahim also holds a master of science in management from Imperial College London Business School and a bachelor of science in economics from Université Paris 1 Sorbonne.
