Citi Private Bank has hired Philip Sharkey as managing director and head of investments for the New York Region, a new post.  He reports to Steve Bodurtha, head of investments, North America.

Sharkey brings more 15 years of experience and joins from Guggenheim Partners where he was a managing director and head of US portfolio management.

"Investment advisory is core to the sophisticated solutions we provide ultra high net worth families and family offices,"  Bodurtha said in a statement.
