Citi Private Bank Hires Ex-Morgan Stanley Exec To Lead NY Investment Unit

Citi Private Bank has hired Christopher Adams as managing director of investment finance for its New York office.

Adams most recently served as an executive director in the tailored lending group of Morgan Stanley Private Bank, a role he took up in 2009.

He rejoins Citi, having previously worked there for 20 years, including at the firm's private banking and global wealth management businesses in New York and Los Angeles. Before departing for Morgan Stanley in 2009 he led a tailored lending team supporting the northeast division of Smith Barney Private Client Group, according to a Citi memo.

He does not replace anyone in this role.

Citi Private Bank specializes in ultra high net worth clients with at least $25 million in investable assets.
