Citibank Hong Kong has unveiled a new credit card tailored for the global affluent segment.

Citi Prestige Card offers cardholders unlimited complimentary global airport lounge access, luxury hotel privileges, unlimited Evergreen points, or points earned for every dollar spent, and up to 30 per cent extra annual relationship points. The card will be offered to clients with a minimum annual income of HK$600,000 ($77,000) or Citigold clients.

In a statement, Citi said that the card is its first World Elite Mastercard product in Greater China. The launch is opportune, because according to its annual Millionaire Survey, the number of Hong Kong millionaires had grown to a record high of 601,000 in 2012.

Citi has around 200 million customer accounts in 160 countries and jurisdictions.
