Citi Hires Private Banker From UBS Wealth Management

Citi Private Bank has added to its Channel Islands team.

Citigroup has appointed Chris Stephens as a private banker in Jersey, according to an internal memo seen by this publication.

Stephens comes from an investment management background. He began his career at Brewin Dolphin before moving to UBS Wealth Management in Jersey, where for the past nine years he has advised ultra-high net worth, trustee and family office clients, covering all asset classes and services.

In his new role, Stephens will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in the Channel Islands across the financial intermediary market, while also focusing on the region’s wealthy families and those that are locating to the islands.

He will report to Giles Crowe, managing director at Citi Private Bank, according Crowe’s LinkedIn profile.
