Citi Boosts Canada Office With Director Hire From HSBC

Citi Private Bank has added Nevada Mohammed - latterly of HSBC - to its Vancouver office in Canada, as director and investment counselor.

In his new role, Mohammed will report to Stacy Devine, who is investment counselor head for the Canada and Midwest US regions, the firm said.

Mohammed joins Citi from HSBC in Vancouver, where he had been an investment counselor working with high net worth clients since 2008.

Prior to HSBC, he held roles in Vancouver with Fidelity Investments, as well as with Coutts and Lloyds Private Banking in the UK, and TD Securities in Toronto, ON.

In other recent hires at Citi, in March the firm strengthened its Houston, TX office, with the addition of Robert Martin as managing director and ultra high net worth private banker.
