Citi Australia Names New FIG, ANZ Global Banking Head

Citigroup has appointed former UBS executive Jeff Emmanuel to lead its Asia-Pacific financial institutions group as managing director, and the Australia and New Zealand global banking unit as vice chairman.

Emmanuel previously served as managing director at UBS' financial institutions group in Hong Kong. In his new role, he will be working closely with Chris Knoblanche and Tony Osmond, respective heads of ANZ global banking and investment banking, and Simon Yoo and Jing Zhao, head of FIG Asia-Pacific. He will be responsible for Citi's FIG business in both Australia and New Zealand.

Citi has key offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane.
