Citi Adds Private Banker In Washington

Citi Private Bank has named Adam Arnold as senior vice president and ultra high net worth private banker at its Washington, DC office, according to the Washington Business Journal.

Citi hired Arnold from PNC Bank, where he was a senior relationship manager at PNC Wealth Management Group for around three years. Prior to this he was a principal with Churchill Investment for ten years, according to the report.

Earlier this month Citi’s chief executive Peter Charrington told Family Wealth Report of plans to add staff and expand operations throughout the US.

According to Charrington, Citi’s growth plans include increasing staff at existing offices in Florida, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and New Jersey; recruiting talent in Chicago next month; opening an office in Dallas later in the summer; scaling up the New York office, and building up its west coast presence in existing offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Orange County, before opening in new locations.
