CISI Managing Director To Step Down In 2015

Ruth Martin, managing director at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), has announced she will be stepping down in January next year.

Ruth Martin, managing director at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), has announced she will be stepping down in January next year.

Martin has been head of the body for ten years and under her leadership the institute has increased its membership by 50 per cent and opened five international offices.

“Ruth has played a critical and strategic role in the development and success of the Institute for more than a decade and is hugely respected by firms and members,” said Alan Yarrow, chairman at CISI.

The CISI is a professional body which sets examinations and offers qualifications for those working in the wealth management and capital markets industry.
