CISI Appoints President In Manchester Region

One of Brewin Dolphin’s divisional directors has been named president of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment’s Manchester and District branch.

One of Brewin Dolphin’s divisional directors has been named president of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment’s Manchester and District branch.

Richard Morley will head the body, becoming responsible for the professional development of its members in the region as well as promoting high ethical standards across the financial services industry, CISI said in a statement.

He steps in to replace Alan Budenberg, vice president of wealth and investment management at Barclays.

Morley will take the reins at the Manchester and District branch for the next two years, whilst continuing his work at Brewin Dolphin.

He has spent the past 13 years at Brewin Dolphin, and currently works in wealth management for individuals, companies and charities.

“With the institute extending links within the UK and globally, it’s an extremely exciting time to be a part of the organisation,” Morley said in a statement.
