Chicago-based Savant Capital Management has appointed Matt Armstrong as a financial advisor and member of the advisory team of Savant Portfolios, promoting him from marketing coordinator.

In his new role Armstrong will manage all aspects of the financial planning and investment processes for the firm's clients.

The firm also named Michelle Angileri as marketing coordinator, a position in which she is responsible for coordinating advertising and sponsorship opportunities, database and prospect management, market research and overseeing other related projects. She was latterly the director of communications at United Way of Rock River Valley, a non-profit organization.

Finishing off the trio of appointments is Kathy Pirtle, who was promoted from human resources administrator to HR manager.
