Charities Aid Foundation Appoints New Chief Executive

The organisation, which has operated for more than a century, has a new CEO. It works with corporate and individual donors in the UK, US and Canada.

The Charities Aid Foundation has appointed James Clarry (main picture) as its next chief executive. He will be succeeding Caroline Siarkiewicz, who has been serving as interim CEO during the search for a permanent successor.

Clarry will take up the role by January 2027 at the latest, with Siarkiewicz continuing as interim CEO until then, the organisation said in a statement.

Clarry has been CEO of Justice & Care since 2023, a global charity that campaigns against modern slavery and supports exploited people. He was previously chief operating officer at Coutts and has held senior positions in the NatWest Group, Coutts’s parent bank.

CAF has operated for more than 100 years, working with corporate and individual donors in the UK, US and Canada to direct giving to charities and communities.
