The Asian financial services arm of consulting firm Celent has hired a new sales executive.

Maria Aquio will be based in Singapore and provide local support to engage with Celent's clients in the region, the firm said in a statement. 

Previously Aquio worked at consultancy The Asian Banker as manager of business development and sales. She also worked as a researcher for the Asian Institute of Management.
