Cazenove Names New CIO

The wealth management firm that is part of London-listed Schroders has expanded its executive team.
Cazenove Capital Management has appointed Caspar Rock to the newly-created role of global chief investment officer.
Rock, who has almost 30 years of industry experience, joins from Architas Multi Manager, AXA’s £20 billion ($28 billion) European retail multi-manager, where he was CIO. He previously headed up the multi manager business at AXA Framlington from 2006 to 2008.
“We are delighted to have attracted such an experienced investor with a demonstrable track record as our chief investment officer and I look forward to working with Rock to realise the full potential of our wealth management business,” said Andrew Ross, chief executive of Cazenove Capital Management.
In other senior shuffles, Richard Jeffrey, current CIO for the UK, will now focus solely on his role as chief economist. Both Rock, who will join the firm in the third quarter of this year, and Jeffrey will be based in London.
Cazenove Capital Management oversaw £32 billion globally on behalf of clients as of the end of 2015.
