Cayman Alternatives Firm Names Business Dev Director for Asia

Managing Partners Limited, the Cayman Islands-based fund management firm that specialises in alternative asset classes, has appointed a business development director for Asia.

Benjamin Lim assumes the Singapore-based role, reporting to Jeremy Leach, managing director for MPL. Lim brings 15 years of industry experience to the firm and most recently served as chief marketing officer for Allianz Global Investors in Asia. Prior to that, he was head of business development Asia for Aviva Investors Singapore and Aberdeen Asset Management.

He will also be part of the firm's sales operation in the region, which is headquartered in Hong Kong.

Managing Partners Limited manages collective investment schemes and mutual funds through its offices in Europe and Asia. It has clients in over 25 countries.
