Cater Allen Names Head Of Telephony Sales

Lynsey Mitchell has been appointed as head of telephony sales for Abbey for Intermediaries and Cater Allen, part of Spanish giant Santander - a newly-created role.
Mitchell was latterly a sales manager at Abbey for Intermediaries covering the north and Scotland. Before this she was head of sales at SPML.
In her new role she will manage telephone sales teams in Glasgow, Manchester and London, and will report to Brad Fordham, sales director at Abbey for Intermediaries and Cater Allen.
Last month Cater Allen, Santander’s UK private banking business, named Miguel Sard as managing director. Sard’s new role is in addition to his existing responsibilities as managing director of Abbey for Intermediaries and his dual appointment reflects the fact the intermediaries market is a strategic priority for Santander UK, the firm said at the time.
Cater Allen, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Santander, has been busily launching new products in recent months. Among these, at the end of May the firm unveiled the Cater Allen Growth Plan 14 - a deposit-based product which offers full protection upon maturity. Specifically, the product offers investors a stock market-linked, uncapped return on their original investment, equivalent to 120 per cent of any rise in the FTSE 100 Index at the end of its six-year term.
