Capital Guardian Opens Offices In Florida, North Carolina

Capital Guardian Wealth Management has expanded its network with an office in Wilmington, North Carolina, and another in Pensacola, Florida. Additionally, the firm has added two members of staff to run the new operations.

Danny Dahl, latterly of Securian Financial Services, will head up the Wilmington office. On his move to Capital Guardian, Dahl cited a desire to work in a more personalized environment, as opposed to a broker-dealer firm.

Meanwhile, John Gaynoe has been appointed as managing advisor and senior portfolio manager at the Pensacola office. He is currently directing graduate research in economics and investment strategy at Georgia State University in Atlanta, and is the author of the book Investment Chronicles, Simple not Easy, scheduled for publication later this year.

“We are talking to a number of other advisors in [the Pensacola] market and look forward to growing the office,” Capital Guardian said in a statement.

This latest move by the firm comes after it added an office in Boerne, Texas last month. The Texas office consists of the Income Solutions Group, founded by Victor Farias and Rick Moos, and afterwards joined by Brad Livingston. It works with RIAs and financial advisors to build fixed income and structured products portfolios for clients.

Capital Guardian is a regional investment firm with over 25 offices throughout the US.
