Capital Guardian Expands With New Office In Orlando

Capital Guardian Wealth Management has expanded its regional offerings with the addition of a new office in Orlando, Florida, and with the appointment of a new financial advisor William McCormac.

McCormac most recently worked with Cumberland Advisors and has also held roles in private wealth consulting and management with the Bank of America and Janney Montgomery Scott.

McCormac and Bob Hodges, managing director of Florida’s private client group, are said to have formed a partnership to facilitate their financial planning efforts with current or soon-to-be retirees under the State of Florida Retirement Systems for municipal and state employees, the firm said in a statement.

"Florida is a big state. Capital Guardian having or planning to have offices in all the major cities is a major draw when you are visiting with retirees throughout the state," said McCormac.

In other recent news the firm expanded its network with an office in Wilmington, North Carolina, and another in Pensacola, Florida in March of this year. Earlier this month Capital Guardian entered into a partnership with Rhino Wealth Management in Norfolk, Virginia, under the direction of president and senior portfolio manager Mark Rienerth.
