Cambridge Southern Opens Its Doors In Denver Under New Brand

Cambridge Southern Financial Advisors is changing its name to Cambridge Wealth Counsel and opening an office in Denver, CO, as it lays out plans to increase its portfolio from $270 million assets under advisement to $500 million by 2016.

"Our new name reinforces the way that we provide wealth management services," said Robert Hockett, president of Cambridge Wealth Counsel.

The new office will be run by Marc Jimenez, latterly regional director at Austin, TX-headquartered Dimensional Funds Advisors, a $240 billion mutual fund family which offers funds used by Cambridge Wealth Counsel. He joins the following team of wealth advisors at Cambridge: Hockett, Barry Kaplan, Brandy Wright and Neil Mahoney.

Cambridge is a registered investment advisor with the state of Georgia and provides services on a fee-only basis. It was founded in 1996 and serves senior executives, business owners, and licensed professionals including doctors and dentists. As well as its new location in Denver, it has offices in Atlanta, GA, and Salt Lake City, UT.
