Montecito Bank & Trust has hired Suzi Schomer as a vice president and business development officer, reporting to Jeff Pittman, senior vice president and director of wealth management.

Schomer has around 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, focused on providing clients in California, Portland, OR, and Austin, TX, with investment and asset management services.

During her career she has also developed and implemented wealth management strategies for trust, investment management and private banking clients. 

Montecito Bank & Trust Wealth Management provides investment management, and trust and estate services.

The California-based firm has offices in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Solvang, Montecito, Carpinteria, Ventura and Westlake Village, with a second Goleta branch now open at Storke and Hollister, it said.
