BVI allows yet more time for CRS

The British Virgin Islands' Financial Account Reporting System has put off the deadline for the submission of Common Reporting Standard reports until 1 September.

The BVI government made the announcement on its website at http://www.bvi.gov.vg/fatca. It states that, for 2017 only, all UK CDOT (Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories) reporting is to be submitted in accordance with the CRS XML Schema.  Also for this year, it says that the deadlines for enrolment have been extended for UK CDOT & CRS only to the following dates: enrolment by 31st July and reporting submissions by 1st September.
