Burnham Gibson Financial Group, the California-based financial planning firm, has appointed Tia Cirksena as director of retirement services.

Cirksena brings 17 years of financial services experience to her new client relationship role. She has previously held senior positions at Principal Financial Group, MetLife, and Transamerica Retirement Services.

In addition to dealing directly with clients, she will be contributing to operations, client retention programs, and related development strategies.

Burnham Gibson specializes in high-end corporate services, including pension consulting, executive benefits planning and risk management, as well as personal wealth management and estate planning.

"My aim is to help triple Burnham Gibson's growth in the next three years," said Cirksena.

The company presently has $450 million under management and offers financial and insurance services to around 250 businesses and 2,000 individual clients around the US.
