Brown Brothers Harriman Bolsters Trust Offering

Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company of Delaware National
Association has simultaneously announced the introduction of
fiduciary services from its Wilmington, Delaware and
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania offices and the appointment of a new
president.
William Levy, previously the regional trust head of the
Philadelphia office, is the new president of the Brown Brothers
Harriman Trust Company of Delaware NA, responsible for overseeing
all trust and estate administration, as well as working with
clients on estate, financial and charitable planning. He will be
based in Wilmington and report to board chairman John Gehret.
The news came hand-in-hand with the opening of new services at
two of its branches, including the administration of personal and
charitable trusts which the firm will offer to clients under its
Investment & Wealth Management unit. Individual and institutional
clients will also benefit from the provision of Delaware
Statutory Trusts, the firm said.
Under Levy will be a team of trust administration, planning and
law specialists which includes
S Thomas Davidson as senior trust officer,
Sarah Heimbach as trust officer, and
Karen Ambrosine as trust administrator. Davidson was most
recently the trust counsel and senior trust officer for
Wilmington Trust, Heimbach joins the Wilmington branch from Brown
Brothers' Texas office where she was vice president and director,
while Ambrosine comes from Delaware Trust where she was VP and
trust administrator.
BBH is a privately-held financial institution that specializes in
investor services, banking and advisory, and investment and
wealth management and has offices in New York, Boston, Charlotte,
Chicago, and Delaware. For non-US clients, it offers trust
services via its Cayman office.
