Brown Brothers Harriman Appoints Global Head Of Investor Services

The US firm, which provides services including private banking from 18 locations globally, has appointed one of its partners to lead its global investor services business.

Brown Brothers Harriman has appointed partner Seán Páircéir as global head of investor services.

Páircéir joined BBH as managing director in 2000 and was appointed partner in 2010. He has led the firm’s investor services relationship excellence unit and served as co-head of Europe, Middle East and Africa for investor services. Based in Dublin, he will take on the new role as of the beginning of 2016, replacing William Tyree, who will become managing partner.

Meanwhile, William Rosensweig has been appointed to succeed Páircéir as head of investor services relationship excellence. Rosensweig, who joined BBH in 2001 and was appointed partner in 2012, has held leadership roles in the firm’s Boston, London, and Hong Kong offices. Based in Boston, he will be responsible for the firm's relationships with US asset managers.

“Under Bill Tyree's leadership, our Investor Services business has grown at more than double the rate of our peers. I am honoured to succeed such a leader and could not be more excited about the future of our business,” said Páircéir.

BBH has three business lines: investor services, investment management, and private banking. BBH Investor Services has $4.7 trillion in assets under custody and administration.
