Brooks Macdonald makes senior hire.

UK wealth manager Brooks Macdonald has appointed Victoria Stubbs (pictured) as chief risk officer. She will report to Andrea Montague, CEO, and will become a member of the executive committee.

Stubbs is a risk and compliance leader with more than 25 years of experience across financial services. Most recently, she was head of customer compliance at Barclays UK. Her career history includes chief risk officer and executive director at The Cambridge Building Society, a senior risk leadership role at Revolut working on its UK banking licence application, and a number of roles at the Financial Services Authority. She began her career at the Bank of England. Stubbs holds an MA (Cantab) in economics. 

Prior to Stubbs' appointment, Jared Harris has been interim group chief risk officer. He will be leaving on 30 September. During his time in the role, he has strengthened the company’s operational oversight and governance, worked with client operations, and assisted with the integration of Brooks Financial ensuring robust risk frameworks and compliance with regulatory expectations.
