Brooks Macdonald International Adds New Investment Advisor For Guernsey

Brooks Macdonald International, an offshore subsidiary of UK-listed wealth manager Brooks Macdonald, has appointed Rod Sallis as an investment advisor in its Guernsey office.

Sallis, with more than ten years’ experience in the financial services industry, was latterly at SG Hambros, where he served as a fund analyst for two and a half years. Before that, he was an investment manager at Cannon Asset Management.

The appointment of Sallis brings the number of investment professionals at BMI Guernsey to eight, with further recruitment anticipated over the coming months, the firm said in a statement.

In other recent hires, earlier this year Brooks Macdonald International appointed Mark O’Connor as an investment manager in its Guernsey office.

Brooks Macdonald Group had £4.97 billion (around $7.5 billion) of funds under management, as at 31 March 2013.
