Brooks Macdonald Asset Management Bolsters Regional Teams With Senior Hires

Brooks Macdonald Asset Management, a subsidiary of UK-listed wealth manager Brooks Macdonald, has added three new investment management directors to its teams in London and Manchester.
Richard Wayne-Wynne and Mark Godwin join the London investment teams, while Ben Roberts joins the investment team in Manchester. The firm said the hires bring its total number of investment managers to 55, with an additional 11 currently in the trainee scheme.
Wayne-Wynne has 18 years of experience in managing investment portfolios for private clients and intermediaries. He was also one of the founding partners of Vestra Wealth and previously an investment director at UBS Wealth Management and Laing & Cruickshank.
Godwin, with 12 years industry experience, joins from City Asset Management, where he was an investment manager responsible for private client portfolios. Before that, he was in charge of equity fund research and selection for the global private banking unit of Banco Comercial Portugues.
Roberts, meanwhile, has eight years of experience in the investment industry. Previously, he was a private client manager at Brown Shipley Private Bank, where he was also a member of the bank’s third-party funds committee covering overseas equities. Before that, he was an investment analyst at Bollin Asset Management.
