Brewin Dolphin, the UK private client investment manager, has boosted its presence in the UK's south west with the appointment of Jonathon Croggon as divisional director.

Mr Croggon has worked in the fund management industry since the late 1980s, starting in London at investment firms including Capel-Cure Myers and Citibank Global Asset Management.

In the late 1990s, he returned to his home county of Cornwall as an investment manager with Truro Stockbrokers, where he advised a range of clients including private individuals, family trusts, pension funds and charities.

In recent years Brewin Dolphin has established regional offices in Exeter, Taunton and Plymouth.
