Bravura Enhances Straight-Through Processing System

Bravura Solutions, the Sydney-based wealth management software firm, said it has enhanced the straight-through processing capacities of its Babel messaging platform with a new connection to the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation.

DTCC handles mutual fund and insurance transactions, linking funds and carriers with a distribution networks. The new private circuit gives Bravura’s clients access to DTCC’s subsidiary network, the National Securities Clearing Corporation and high speed message transfer services in the US.

Babel connects directly into DTCC’s infrastructure via a permanent live connection into Bravura’s primary and secondary data centres. Already live, the facility is available to all of Bravura’s clients and offers administrators access to the US. It also offers clients a chance to extend their markets to Canada and the South America and Asia-Pacific regions.

The addition of the DTCC connection adds to other Bravura STP financial messaging services. Babel connects to markets and platforms such as Allfunds Bank, Clearstream (Vestima+), EUI (EMX), and Euroclear (FundSettle).
