Shackleton, who is the granddaughter of early 20th Century polar
explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, is also a prominent advocate for
polar heritage and exploration. She is also life president
of the James Caird Society and vice patron of the UK Antarctic
Heritage Trust. McGloin is a racing driver, Guinness World Record
holder, international speaker and disability advocate. She is the
world's first female tetraplegic competitive racing driver.
McGloin has been a Shackleton client for more than 15
years.
“Alexandra represents a direct connection to the extraordinary
leadership legacy of Sir Ernest Shackleton and has devoted her
life to ensuring those lessons remain relevant in today's world,”
Paul Feeney, CEO of Shackleton, said. “Nathalie's story is
one of determination, courage and resilience in the face of
adversity, qualities that resonate deeply with our colleagues,
advisors and clients.”
