Bordier Names New Sales, Marketing Managers

The UK-based firm is looking to bolster its network of client relationships with its latest hires.

Specialist asset manager Bordier has appointed Andrew Clotworthy and Andrew Rowlands as business development manager and marketing manager, respectively, within its sales and marketing team.

Clotworthy joins from Canaccord Genuity, where he led intermediary distribution. He also spent a 16-year stint with Charles Stanley earlier in his career.

In his new role, he will make use of his “far-reaching” network of intermediary connections to develop Bordier's network of relationships with investment intermediaries, lawyers and accountants while maintaining existing relationships, the firm said in a statement. Clotworthy will also work with the professional advisor community, Bordier added. He will report to David Muncaster, director of sales and marketing.

Rowlands kick-started his career with UBS Global Asset Management within its retail marketing team and joins Bordier from Brooks Macdonald, where he spent five years. As a marketing executive, he co-ordinated various campaign initiatives targeted at advisors and institutional investors, and was responsible for managing numerous third-party relationships, Bordier said. In his new role, Rowlands will report to Lucy Goldsworthy, head of marketing.

Clotworthy is taking on a newly-created role while Rowlands is succeeding Samuel Plummer, who is pursuing other opportunities.
