Boodle Hatfield Adds Partner To Contentious Private Client Team

Boodle Hatfield, the UK private client law firm, has bolstered its contentious private client team with the appointment of William Twidale as partner.
Mr Twidale, who will join Boodle Hatfield’s 30-strong private client team on 1 December, is currently a partner in the disputes team at Farrer & Co. Specialising in contentious trust and probate claims, he has advised a number of trustee bodies and national charities during his career, along with working with both regulatory bodies and individual professionals on regulatory and disciplinary matters.
“Boodle Hatfield continues to invest and develop further its core practice areas in private client and commercial property and will look to continue to grow and develop these areas further over the next year or so,” said Richard Maughan, managing partner.
Mr Twidale’s appointment follows that of James Ferguson, a partner of 20 years’ standing at Taylor Wessing, to Boodle Hatfield’s family team in July. Mr Ferguson, who brought with him a substantial client base, specialises in dealing with matters arising from the breakdown of relationships, with particular emphasis on high net worth individuals and families.
