BofA GWIM Teams Up With Eurasia For Analysis

Bank of America has entered into a multi-year strategic agreement with Eurasia Group to provide political risk analysis to the bank’s Global Wealth and Investment Management clients.

As part of the agreement, BofA will jointly look to develop investment products using Eurasia Group analyses.

Experts at Eurasia, a global political consultant, will take part in specialized client briefings, conferences, training symposiums and periodic political risk analysis communications for more than 20,000 Merrill Lynch and US Trust advisors. Eurasia will provide wealth management advisors with regular commentary on the world’s top political developments and will offer event-driven analysis in response to breaking news.

Eurasia will also provide forward-looking, detailed reports on a variety of topics affecting Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, as well as on topics such as the use of energy and natural resources.

It will also pen an annual report on key regions with high political risk and emerging long-term global trends. In addition the two firms will co-brand publications on topics of interest and jointly produce a newsletter for clients.
