BNY Mellon Wealth Management Launches New Platform

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has launched a new Internet platform for family offices and wealthy individuals. The new system provides a comprehensive view of a client's entire relationship with the company while offering what the company describes as powerful reporting, information delivery, notification and collaborative tools. The new platform, called Private Workbench, builds on the organisation's established institutional capabilities and is the result of an 18-month, multi-million dollar effort involving extensive research and development with a cross-section of family offices, advisors and individuals. BNY Mellon Wealth Management says that Private Workbench caters to the personalisation and intuitive design demands of clients while offering unrivalled reporting capabilities that satisfy the most complex information requirements. "Our site provides clients with a single sign-on view of their entire wealth management relationship with us and it offers innovative and personalised capabilities that are unequalled in the industry," said David Lamere, chief executive of BNY Mellon Wealth Management. The new platform allows family office clients to view units of a family partnership or pool based on their percentage of ownership and to drill down to individual security holding views. Clients can also use the platform's data warehousing capabilities to store and archive client statements, tax documents, and communications. As well as reporting, clients can use the platform for secure messaging and online collaboration, personalised alerts and banking, brokerage and funds transfer functions. BNY Mellon Wealth Management ranks as one of the top 10 US wealth managers with approximately $170 billion in private client assets and a network of more than 80 offices globally.
