BNY Mellon Releases iPad App For FX, Cash Services

BNY Mellon has launched BNY Mellon Connect Mobile, an app that gives its clients access to its products and services via an iPad, including FX research and cash management.
The app can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store and has a link to foreign exchange research from BNY Mellon Global Markets, and to Liquidity DIRECT Mobile, which provides the transactional, reporting and account management features of Liquidity DIRECT, a cash investment tool for institutional investors, via an iPad.
The currency markets research includes a weekly markets overview; daily reports timed for market openings in Europe, North America and Asia; and BNY Mellon’s iFlow analysis of global investment flows.
Access to Liquidity DIRECT allows clients to manage cash investments, access a range of money market funds, use custody services for margin balances in counterparty transactions, and invest directly in individual money market securities through BNY Mellon’s broker-dealer.
The cash management software also has security features inbuilt such as the option of dual authorization, which means trades can be entered but held as pending until verified by a second authorised person.
“BNY Mellon Connect Mobile marks an important milestone in our ongoing adaptation of web-based offerings to mobile devices,” said John Fiore, executive vice president and chief information officer for IT worldwide at BNY Mellon.
