BNY Mellon Names Senior Wealth Strategist For San Francisco

BNY Mellon has named Justin Miller as senior wealth strategist for investment management based in San Francisco.
Miller has 12 years of experience in the investment management industry and was previously a senior vice president and managing director at Wells Fargo Private Bank. Before that, he was a lawyer at Sidley Austin and Glaser, Weil Fink, Jacobs, Howard, Avchen & Shapiro, advising high net worth clients on estate and business succession planning, trust law and management and asset preservation.
In this new role, he will be working closely with wealth management teams in California, Washington and Colorado and report directly to Donald Heberle, the head of family wealth and international business.
The company has been actively expanding its San Francisco wealth management business over the past year and has grown its staff numbers in the area by 20 per cent, it said in a statement.
"With the addition of [Miller] we look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to attract and best serve new clients," said Amy Millman, the president of BNY Mellon's Northern California region.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management has around $170 billion in private client assets.
