BNY Mellon Names New Heads Of Securities Lending Unit

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing has strengthened its equities franchise with the appointments of David DiNardo as chief operating officer of securities lending and Robert Chiuch as managing director of the same unit.

DiNardo has been part of the securities lending division since 1994 and had served as manager since 1997. His most recent role was as managing director of the US equity and corporate securities lending team. In his new post, DiNardo reports to James Slater, who he succeeds following the latter's appointment as global head of securities lending.

Chiuch joins the company from CIBC Mellon, where he served as co-head of global securities lending. He will be based in New York for his new position and will also report to Slater.

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing specializes in custody and fund services, securities lending, performance and analytics, and execution services. It is a wholly-owned unit of BNY Mellon, which records $25.5 trillion in assets under custody and $1.2 trillion in assets under management.
