BNY Mellon Names New CEO for International Ops

BNY Melon International Operations has named India-based Jim McEleney as its new chief executive, taking over from Sheena Wilson, who has moved to London to become global head of strategy.

Mr McEleney was previously the managing director of family office services Europe for BNY Mellon Wealth Management in London before he moved to Pune, India in August this year.

In his new role, he oversees the bank's operational service delivery for international segments and joins the Asia-Pacific operating committee with India country executive Navneet Singh and Asia-Pacific chairman Chris Sturdy. He reports directly to BNY Mellon vice chairman Don Monks and executive vice president Frank Dittrich.

The bank's international operations division handles all financial services processes for asset management, international servicing, financial markets, treasury, wealth management, and other global units.
