BNY Mellon Names CFO For European Banking Arm

BNY Mellon has named Eric Pulinx as chief financial officer of its European banking entity, called The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV, subject to regulatory approval.

Pulinx joins after four years with bpost Bank (Belgian Postal Bank), where he was latterly CFO, chief risk officer and a member of the executive committee. Previously he spent over 10 years with KPMG where he was senior manager and recognized statutory auditor on the audit of several significant European banks.

“His business acumen and prior experience in the finance industry will be valuable as we continue to develop our European banking entity and pursue our strategic growth plans across the region,” said Wim Hautekiet, CEO of The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV.
