BNY Mellon Appoints Regional Managing Director

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has named Daniel FitzPatrick regional managing director overseeing the portfolio management teams and coordinating the sales and private banking efforts in Westchester County, New York and southern Connecticut.  He reports to New York regional president Doris Meister, and will be responsible for the firm’s offices in White Plains, New York, as well as Greenwich and Westport, Connecticut.

“His addition is part of a robust growth plan for the New York region,” Meister said in a statement.  BNY Mellon has hired 10 professionals this year in the region, six of them in sales.

FitzPatrick was most recently partner and managing director of Samoset Capital Group and chief executive of Samoset Financial Services. Prior to that, he was global chief executive of Citi Trust at Citigroup and has held executive positions with Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan & Co. He began his career as a corporate attorney with Davis Polk & Wardwell.
