BNY Mellon Announces New Indonesia Country Head

BNY Mellon has confirmed its commitment to grow its business
in Indonesia with the announcement of a new country head.
IGN Budi Sanjaya, the new country executive for Indonesia,
will be based in Jakarta and will focus on building local client
relationships, the company said in a statement. In addition to
his new position, he will also be the chief representative of the
firm's office in Jakarta. He reports to Jai Arya, head of client
management for Asia Pacific in Singapore.
"Indonesia is in good economic shape with individual wealth
steadily rising and a burgeoning middle class continuing to fuel
the growth of the insurance and asset management
sectors," said
Chris Sturdy, the chairman of Asia Pacific for BNY
Mellon.
"Indonesia has also been instrumental in promoting Islamic
finance and has undertaken various legislative measures to
encourage its growth."
Sanjaya has more than 20 years of experience in international
banking. He joins the company from PT Bank CIMB Niaga, where he
was executive vice president and head of financial institutions
and securities servicing.
