The newly-appointed figure has worked at CMBI and Royal Bank of Canada.

BNP Paribas has appointed Alexis Wu as market head for Hong Kong at its wealth management arm, this publication can confirm. 

In her new role, Wu will report to Lemuel Lee, head of wealth management, Hong Kong.

Previously, Wu was managing director and co-head of private wealth management at China Merchants Bank International (CMBI), where she oversaw the wealth management business and led teams across Asia, including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Before that, Wu was executive director, wealth management Asia at Royal Bank of Canada.

Wu holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Victoria, Canada, and a bachelor of corporate finance degree from Peking University.
